Joey Lowrance is in his 23rd year as a High School Choir Director in Texas. He is now beginning his 16th cumulative year at GHS. His choirs hold prestigious titles such as Best in Class, Outstanding in Class and Overall Outstanding. Mr. Lowrance serves as an adjudicator for UIL contests and festivals and has been invited to other High Schools in the state as a contest prep clinician. His passion for making music and providing students with moving musical experiences keeps him teaching year after year. Joey married his wife, Barbara in 2002 and they have 4 children: Cord, Denman, Teague and Lola Kathleen As a family they enjoy attending concerts, sporting events and their family church in Oak Hill.
Stacey Brandenberger is thrilled to be the Assistant Choir Director and AP Music Theory Teacher at Georgetown High School. She is a GHS graduate and former member of the Choral Department. She has 21 years of experience teaching music and choir to grades K- 12 in several Texas and Tennessee schools. She has also taught 18+ years of private piano lessons. She is a seasoned accompanist and serves as the pianist at First Baptist Church for the past 7 years. She is married to Andy, and has two children, Ethan and Chelsea.
